Guidelines for Submission

  • The Students should submit their entry by writing a short abstract (100 – 150 words) using, the link given below.
  • The format of submission should include:
    • The chosen Moment.
    • The practice of Medicine before the event / moment and How this moment / event / innovation changed the practice of medicine.
    • Please interpret the evidence in context without using present medical criteria to critique past medical practices.
  • Please include your Personal Information as specified in the form.
  • The Scientific team will screen the abstract and choose the best ones for in-person presentation during the Conference. The decision of the Scientific Team will be final.
  • Along with a Trophy, Award Certificate results will be published on the iCON website.

Award Details

About the Award

  • This award is given to the best presentation by UG Student of Health Profession’s Education Program on the topic ‘Defining Moment in the History of Medicine’.
  • The chosen moment should be narrow enough to be described within the time limit imposed (5 minutes) and broad enough to be historically relevant. Possible topics might include the history of a particular disease, a medical controversy, the development of a specialty, the impact of a particular individual or body of research within medicine, or the development of a public health problem and the response to it, etc.

Eligibility

This award is open to all bonafide UG Students of Health Profession’s Education Programs including interns. Only Students registered for the conference will be allowed to submit their abstracts.
